Nestle Manager eBusiness Strategy in Arlington, Virginia

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide strategic support for the eBusiness Director, and overall team, by identifying and leading key initiatives to accelerate eBusiness success, including brand and customer tiering to drive resource focus, to developing strategic partner opportunities and driving organizational activation. As a member of the eBusiness Strategy team, this role is responsible for ensuring the eBusiness Road Map is on course and refreshed/refined as needed to maximize NUSA s eBusiness potential.

As part of the NUSA eBusiness team and, overall, the Digital Center of Excellence, this position works closely with the eBusiness Key Account and Merchandising teams, the Digital Strategy and Content teams, and related functions like Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT.

This is a new position in the organization, and part of the overall eBusiness build out.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide strategic support for the eBusiness Director, and overall team, by identifying and leading key initiatives to accelerate eBusiness success, including:

  • Lead on-going eBusiness Road Map tracking, review, and action recommendations based on changes in market, performance, internal and external capabilities

  • Determine brand and retail partner tiering status and support

  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities, business casing, negotiation and activation

  • Develop eBusiness forecasts and objectives, in collaboration with eBusiness Sales and Finance

  • Link Channel strategy with CCSD (e.g., regarding pricing, trade rates, unique SKUs)

  • Develop strategy roadmaps for all platforms (i.e. click and collect, ship to home) of Tier I and II accounts in conjunction with eBusiness Director to drive sales growth plans, changing consumer expectations and market conditions

  • Develop eBusiness-specific SKU strategy recommendation and implementation/process

  • fulfillment methods

  • Support NUSA assortment expansion and identification of white space opportunities

  • With Marketing HR training, develop eBusiness education materials and experience to increase Marketing competency and interest/integration of eBusiness

Collaborate across NUSA, NiM, Nestle, and strategic partners to drive eBusiness impact:

  • Serve as key contact point among Nestle opcos in the US, to speed progress through sharing, piloting, and partnering

  • Collaborate with the Centre, key markets, and other Nestle OpCos in the US, on eBusiness strategy and programs

  • Work with strategic partners (like Facebook, Google, Amazon) to integrate and innovate in ways to drive eBusiness growth

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Works independently, with general supervision and support from eBusiness Director; strong collaboration with Digital Center of Excellence team, in particular Strategists, SMEs, and Analytics, eBusiness KAM Team, connected eBusiness-linked teams (NSD, Finance, Supply Chain, etc), and Center for Marketing Excellence (CME) resources

PMO resource supporting Strategy Team members

FINANCIAL/STRATEGIC IMPACT:

Determining eBusiness Team critical projects and capabilities focus will drive business acceleration and sales impact. The Strategy Team supports the overall eBusiness group resource allocation and prioritization, in the context of the organizational Road Map.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

o BA required, MBA preferred

EXPERIENCE:

o 3+ years of Marketing (ideally CPG), Digital Marketing, and/or eBusiness sales strategy

o Expertise in ideating and activating digital strategies in the CPG space; expert knowledge of digital trends and technologies
