Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Safely operate a forklift
Meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ensure quality product is sent to customer by completing hourly quality checks
Accurately execute loading/unloading of trucks from pick ticket and line load trailers
Inspects full goods as produced and pallets or other raw materials as unloaded
Perform accurate bin transactions per warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain inventory accuracy
Maintain the cleanliness of the work areas and all associated equipment
Perform machine changeovers and troubleshoot machine issues
Complete all paperwork associated with un/loading trucks such as blind receipts, load information, efficiency logs and bill of ladings
Work as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages
Cross training to perform other lift and off lift activities as required
Provide vacation coverage to team members
Key qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a high speed manufacturing environment; clean manufacturing experience preferred
Two or more years previous forklift experience preferred
Fork truck certification or ability to be trained
Computer navigation skills with Windows and RF Scanner experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work self-directed
Sense of urgency with an attention to safety, quality and details
Comfort with operating in a challenging, fast paced environment
Reliable with the ability to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to sit for a prolonged period of time
