Nestle Waters North America Deployment Planner-Customer Service Representative in Ontario, California

We currently have an opening for Deployment Planner in our Mira Loma plant.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze and re-direct, as necessary, customer orders to optimally sourced location

  • Maintain and update Planning KPI reports

  • Coordinate / communicate with members of planning team (s): Factory scheduling, target inventory levels, ordering raw materials, coordinating preform requirements, warehouse utilization projections, and line load opportunities.

  • Manage the sourcing of customer orders based on product availability

  • Communicate with leadership teams and coordinate warehouse transfers & repositions to maintain target inventory levels

  • Be proactive in identifying potential product issues and communicating then to other departments.

  • Focus on achieving Direct Ship and Order Fill goals.

  • Participation in and Leadership of Continuous Improvement projects

  • Proactively communicate within Planning Team and with other Departments for issue resolution and process improvements.

  • Develop training guides, process changes, and SOP's as needed

  • Other duties as assigned by Planning Management Team

  • All employees receive training on Plant Quality initiatives when hired. This includes: HACCP, CCP, GMP, FSMS and their importance in the manufacturing environment

  • Support the NWNA Food Safety Management System by ensuring compliance with all FSMS-related procedures, policies, and obligations.

  • Responsible for immediately placing on hold back to the last good check, any product of which the quality is in question, then contacting the Quality department and a member of the Leadership team for resolution.

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, 4 year degree preferred

  • Two years of experience in scheduling and deployment

  • Manufacturing Experience in Logistics, Dock Coordinator and Production a plus

  • Proficient in Excel, SAP, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to communicate and interface proficiently on computer, phone, and in person to work cross functionally within multiple departments

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and arrive at win/win solutions

  • Customer Service oriented

  • Ability to make good decisions quickly

  • Demonstrated success in achieving metrics
