The primary responsibility of this position will be a co-pilot for the Global Foods Division (GFD). The GFD is a fast-paced, fast-growing business unit that is looking for someone to match the enthusiasm of a rapidly changing environment. The co-pilot will be an integral team member to define the future direction of a dynamic portfolio. Incumbent must be willing to be an active participant in team decisions and evaluations of the business, demonstrating strong teamwork and leadership skills.

Some domestic and international travel may be involved with this position.


Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Finance Business Partner:

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis of business results, drivers, risk and opportunities.

Work closely with our business partners to define a profitable commercialization strategy for the business by making pricing, trade and marketing recommendations supported by financial analysis.

Support management team in cost reduction needs by developing an efficient partnership with our producing divisions in order to implement cost improvement initiatives.

Planning and Forecast:

Lead the planning process (Monthly Forecast, Annual Budget, 3-Year Strategic Plan, etc) for the GFD, ensuring forecasts reflect current business strategies and objectives.

Report to GFD management team risks and opportunities to the divisional financial position, analytically reviewing cost structures and commodity positions.

Ad Hoc Analysis and Reporting:

Work on projects that generate value for the division analyzing key processes, identifying business improvements and improve project margins.



BA/BS with major or minor in Accounting or Finance, or BA/BS degree with coursework up to and including intermediate accounting. MBA preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance

Must be willing to travel 10%


CPA, CMA, CFM, CBF preferred

Food industry experience

Willingness to relocate for career advancement


Hands-on knowledge of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and footnotes thereto

Working knowledge of financial concepts & principles including cash flow, NPV, IRR, ROI, Economic Profit, etc.

Nestl Accounting Standards (NAS) - for internal candidates

Knowledge of the principles of cost accounting and activity-based costing

Proven ability to perform balance sheet & profit/loss account reconciliations & analysis

Demonstrated ability to comply with policies & procedures

Ability to perform analyses of variance between actual costs and budgeted/planned costs

Basic financial modeling skills

Computer skills: MS Windows, including intermediate Excel and Word, and basic PowerPoint and Access


Computer skills: SAP (or the equivalent) experience
