Nestle Lead, Recruiting Operations in Arlington, Virginia

The Manager, Stakeholder Experience will lead Recruiting Operations and will be focused on optimizing operational process flows and looking for ways to increase throughput in a customer centric manner to delight the candidate while delivering a consistent and scalable experience to all stakeholders.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting Operations

  • Lead recruiting operations to deliver efficient and effective practices.

  • Partner with HR Compliance, Legal and other internal stakeholders to define and uphold Nestle USA offer letters and pre-employment practices in accordance with federal and state employment law

  • Manage pre-employment check vendor to meet service level agreement key performance indicators

  • Oversee pre-employment check adjudication process in alignment with HR business partners and legal. Define and implement escalation management process. Primary point of contact for candidates.

  • Provide training to Recruiters and Coordinators on effective recruitment practices to drive consistency and compliance on offer management and pre-employment

  • Partner with Procurement to oversee vendor selection and vendor management for temporary labor, pre-employment vendors, contingency staffing, retained staffing and other recruiting services as required

  • Act as the primary relationship manager with the background check vendor and address performance concerns

  • Budget reconciliation and charge back/cost allocations responsibilities for the recruiting organization with direction and support from finance.

  • Manage team of 6-10 Recruiting Coordinators including employees and contractors.

  • Hire, coach and manage the performance of the team to meet and exceed business requirements.

Team responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting event planning and logistics and Interview Scheduling for approximately 4,000 candidates annually

  • Draft and send Offer letters and New Hire welcome materials.

  • Conduct and follow up on Background check & drug screen pre-employment checks. Close job files for compliance.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

General supervisor from Manager, Recruiting Enablement

SUPERVISION GIVEN:

Manage 6-10 direct reports

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

3 or more years of project management experience

3 or more years of human resources experience

2 years of people management experience

Project management including project planning, budget management, implementation and communication

Highly effective communication including verbal, written and presentations required

Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills to identify issues, offer solutions and prioritize action plans

Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook

Experience managing vendors including quarterly business reviews and audits as required

Highly organized with excellent time management skills. Ability to multitask, strong follow up skills and proven ability to manage escalations and meet deadlines

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor degree in human resources or related field

Certificate or courses in project management

Experience partnering with Procurement to drive vendor selection including RFIs, RFPs, contract negotiation including identification of KPIs and financial terms

2 or more years of experience in recruiting, talent management, organization development or training

Knowledge of recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques

Knowledge of pre-employment processes such as OFCCP compliance and employment law
