Position Summary:

Position is based in Bridgewater, New Jersey

The primary role of the Sr. Financial Analyst is to support the NPTC finance processes including forecasting and budgeting, reporting, accounting operations and compliance. The Sr. Analyst will be responsible for working with the NPTC line managers to develop an accurate quarterly budget updates as well as risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting: Partners with functional owners to build cost center budgets and analyze actual spending and update budget forecasts as needed.

Reporting: monitor actual spend versus budget on a monthly basis. The Sr. Financial analyst is responsible for monthly expense reporting out of SAP BW and Business Objects to support NPTC line managers. Perform CATS reporting and time transfer.

Compliance: assist with compliance monitoring by reviewing G/L codes, Purchase Orders, GR/IR and T&E spend to ensure compliance.

Accounting: perform accounting accruals and accounting reclassifications to ensure accurate reporting


Experience and Education Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting required

5-7 years demonstrated work experience in financial planning and reporting

Work experience in consumer products, manufacturing environment a plus

Demonstrated quality skills in Microsoft Office; specifically in Excel

Preferred Skills

Functional Skills : Finance understanding, basic business acumen, analytical skills, able to work in a fast paced environment. Proficient level in SAP. Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them.
