We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to be located in Elmsford, NY and report to the Customer Operations Manager . The primary responsibilities will include manage all Warehouse functions for 1-3 RR locations including inventory and truck loading/unloading, hands-on supervision, training, coaching and developing the overnight Warehouse Team (as well as day time Inventory Specialists). Activities to accomplish this include: work-withs, observations, goal setting, measures and objectives, performance tracking, and support for the execution of Warehouse Daily Debriefs (WDD s).

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive customer (internal and external) satisfaction through the ownership of all truck loading and unloading activities.

  • Own execution and adherence to standards for all Warehouse processes related to inventory and warehousing.

  • Uphold frontline employee safety through the regulation of safety policy compliance, behaviors, and the identification and execution of safety improvement opportunities.

  • Execute all Warehouse management related tasks, including but not limited to: day-to-day warehouse planning/scheduling (including headcount, labor allocation and job assignment determination), establishing team norms and collaborating with Route Operations.

  • Lead/manage/develop frontline employees (Forklift Operators and Inventory Specialists) by hiring qualified team members, assigning team responsibilities, timely addressing of attendance/conduct/performance issues, and conducting mid-year and year-end Performance Evaluations.

  • Own compliance to facility standards, to include routine auditing of housekeeping schedules, facility inspections, security/environmental/general compliance requirements.

  • Uphold and execute all Warehouse productivity and quality goals, including equipment return procedures.

  • Ensure product supply meets customer demand through management of inventory processes.

Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • 1-2 years previous supervisory experience, preferred

  • Demonstrates confidence and influence in achieving productivity goals

  • Skilled communicator (in groups and 1-on-1), who can set clear expectations

  • Ability to hold direct reports accountable, quantitatively and qualitatively

  • Ability to provide training and development for direct reports

  • Demonstrates excellent role model and peer leadership behaviors and influence

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds

  • Able to conduct regular inventory audits

  • Able to safely use various warehouse equipment, including a forklift

  • Valid driver s license

  • College degree preferred / High School diploma or equivalent required

  • PC experience preferred (RMS, Excel, etc.)
