Nestle Waters North America is seeking an organized and results-driven Human Resource Associate to assist with the administration and delivery of vital human resources communications and operations. Reporting to the Regional HR Manager , the Associate will develop a strong foundation in Human Resources by providing exceptional support to the Kingfield Factory in areas such as communications, process development and improvement, and team events.

Essential Responsibilities:

General HR Support:

Respond timely to employee issues and questions related to compensation, benefits, and HR policies and programs.

Provide administrative support for and coordination of NWNA s HR processes, including leaves management, performance management, new hire onboarding, exit interviews, and leadership development

Manage communications, change management and training for projects as needed.

Lead ad-hoc HR projects in support of the HR Operational Master Plan and/or functional HR priorities


Effectively onboard Kingfield/Maine 4 based employees through a robust assimilation process.

Act as the liaison for the factory team on total NWNA enhancements to the pre-boarding/ onboarding process.

Facilitate Day 1 New Hire onboarding sessions and coordinate all other days.

Employee Relations:

Provide counsel and support to managers and employees on ongoing HR initiatives and projects.

Ensure consistent policies and pay practices are taking place at the location.

Participate in the appeals process as necessary.

Talent & Performance Management:

Support functional business groups on leading through talent review sessions and Year End processes. Aggregate talent and year-end performance review data as needed.

Manage the creation of job success profiles for all Corporate roles and translate them into an updated, effective career pathing tool.


Maintain compliance for existing personnel files, new hire files, and terminated employee files; complete and re-verify I-9s as needed, ensure completion of required compliance trainings, and facilitate the exit process for terminating employees.

Ensure field HR understands the requirements for compliance KPIs and remain compliant (Hours of Work, ACA, I-9, etc.).

Analyze compliance data for themes to identify obstacles and develop action plans for national improvement.

Nestl Continuous Excellence:

Promote and foster the Nestl Continuous Excellence culture through an empowering, open minded and proactive approach and by acting as a catalyst for change management.

Act as Pillar on the Corporate functions NCE Pillar Teams and provide HR support where needed.


Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:

Prefer 3 years experience in a Human Resources Coordinator/Generalist role in a progressive HR department or recent graduate in a relevant major with strong internship experience in human resources.

Bachelor s degree preferred

Strong business acumen and HR experience with a proven track record of acting as a strategic HR partner

Experience in proactive employee relations, leveraging data to make informed decisions

Employee relations including fact finding, managing conflicts and developing win/win solutions is desired

Ability to lead though influence in a collaborate environment

Demonstrated experience partnering on business/operational issues

Knowledge of state and federal employment law including HR technical knowledge of EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment and worker s compensation

Demonstrated communication abilities at multiple levels of the organization, including creating effective communication tools such as PowerPoint decks, talking points, etc.

Demonstrated organization skills leading to the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
