The Site SH&E Intern position is an important SH&E role at the Site and will work closely with our SH&E team to assist with the coordination and execution of safety, health and/or environmental programs to ensure practical, cost-effective measures are in place within the workplace to continuously improve our Safety Culture. The SH&E intern will be responsible for a variety of projects which may include Personal Protective Equipment assessments, Safety Data Sheet organization, GHS labeling, training organization and improvements, chemical inventories, lab equipment safety, and/or procedure updates. The position interacts with employees to ensure a culture of caring and where each employee is accountable and responsible for Safety, Health & Environmental conditions and behaviors. The SH&E Intern will help ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies, routinely interacting with employees on the Site floor on a routine basis. This list of projects is not inclusive and is subject to change.

At least 2 years of academic coursework completed (Junior or Senior Level) towards a Bachelor s degree in Environmental, Safety & Occupational Health Management or related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be able to work in a team setting, as well as individually with minimal supervision
Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 and above (preferred)
Have strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills, and are self-starters
Possesses a continuous improvement mindset and strong problem solving skills
Open to working in a factory environment
