Nestle Consumer Insights Manager in New York, New York

Nestle Nespresso is hiring a Consumer Insights Manger to join our growing Marketing team. The Consumer Insights Manager will lead the development, delivery & integration of consumer insights throughout the wider Nespresso US organization. They will proactively recommend and manage the development & implementation of market research studies to successfully deliver meaningful, business-relevant insights. The Consumer Insights Manager will connect the dots across different data sources & studies to deliver multisource syntheses that have a business relevant narrative. They will accurately track & measure our performance against competition.

Custom Research Framing & Design:

Proactively work with cross-functional teams & senior leadership to identify knowledge gaps. Develop consumer-learning plan.

Work with business partners to accurately frame key business issues. Manage RFP process & supplier selection.

Manage all aspects of the project timeline to a timely & on budget completion.

Connect-the-Dots:

Drive a holistic view of the consumer & marketplace.

Leverage all data sources (past research, secondary data, CRM data, and digital tracking) to develop & share-out multisource insights syntheses.

Develop & present research summaries of key insights for senior leadership.

Consumer Empathy:

Act as a consumer advocate within the organization.

Lead the development & implementation of regular insights share-out's that drive the consumer voice throughout the organization.

Competitive Analysis:

Develop & manage accurate picture of competitive performance (share, velocity, etc.)

Partner with HQ to driven competitive insights throughout the organization.

Effectively manage tools & relationships needed to deliver competitive insights quickly & accurately.

Digital Insights:

Mine digital data & translate into tangible insights.

Integrate digital insights with other data sources (past research, secondary data, CRM data, and current studies)

Recommend key tools & practices to best understand our consumers in the digital space.

Education:

BA required, preferably in Business/Marketing, Statistics, or Computer Science.

MA preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of market research experience, required.

3+ years leading consumer insights within an organization, preferred.

Advanced knowledge of market research techniques both qualitative and quantitative.

Working knowledge of syndicated research sources (Nielsen, IRI, Mintel, Simmons, etc.).

Highly detailed oriented with strong strategic thinking abilities & analytical skills.

Exceptional communication / presentation skills (both written and verbal).
