We are currently seeking a Dock Coordinator to join our team in our small manufacturing and distribution facility. This role works 12 hour shifts, a rotating 3-4 days/week.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Execute Dock Schedule, maintaining 100% accuracy

  • Maximize dock door utilization and line load opportunities, providing direction to Warehouse and Palletizer drivers as needed

  • Perform pick ticket processing

  • Post goods issue for all outbound loads

  • Receipt of inbounds/returns within 24 hours of arrival

  • Maintain accuracy of Yard Management

  • Communicate with Yard Drivers and Carriers to enhance dock efficiency

  • Maintain Dock Office at or above 90% 5s standard

  • Resolve order and goods issue discrepancies

  • Complete order exceptions as needed

  • Proactively communicate within Warehouse Team and with other Departments for issue resolution and process improvements

  • Functional production/inventory knowledge

  • Report out national inventory Key Performance Indicator s

  • Assist in resolution of damaged material issues

  • Assist in the reconciliation of SAP and QA counts of all hold product

  • Experience with Annual Physical Inventory process

  • Other duties as assigned by Resource

  • Use of problem solving and continuous improvement tools and methodologies


Key qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Two or more years prior forklift experience with a solid safety record, ideally in a fast paced forklift environment

  • Ability to handle multiple people and projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • Computer skills; SAP, Microsoft Office, I/M Datapass

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Must be flexible in working hours overtime, vacation coverage, and off-shifts

  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse preferred
