POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead Procurement Excellence team(s) and/or Procurement Project sub-team(s) in the development and deployment of world class solutions required to drive the strategy of the specific functional stream(s). Develop and implement stakeholder communication strategies and support throughout the market. Drive enhancement proposals to the Above Market Procurement Excellence team on new or deployed solutions and ensure alignment of strategies to identified goals and objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage projects and teams to build solutions (processes, standards, and systems) that are required to drive the Strategy of the Functional Stream in alignment to the Procurement Vision.

  • Define policies, standards, instructions, best practices, and the strategy to implement and monitor.

  • Manage project and initiatives deployment activities in line with Procurement Excellence (PX) and Procurement Leadership Team (PLT) Operational Master Plan (OMP) priorities.

  • Create environment for optimal performance, and ensure execution and accountability within team members.

Lead a team in the deployment of solutions within the Procurement organization and ensure alignment of strategies to realistic goals and objectives.

  • Ensure deployment and compliance to above market initiatives / drive change management in market.

  • Coach and develop team members, ensure environment for optimal performance.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of initiatives by bringing ideas, feedback, and requirements from own areas of responsibility.

  • Identify and engage relevant internal and external parties to provide insights on relevant topics.

  • Collect information of needs from local procurement teams, including Head of Procurements (HOP), and escalate whenever needed.

  • Benchmark against industry standards.

Drive appropriate key partnership within and outside of Procurement function.

  • Ensure alignment of initiatives that involve Procurement coming from other areas or within Procurement.

  • Provide visibility of at market initiatives and recommendations, as well as concerns for above market initiatives.

Define appropriate measures to follow-up, ensure compliance to the Best Practices and measurement process, and implement defined solutions in the Procurement organizations at market and above the market.

Qualifications REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL

Bachelor s Degree or relevant work experience required.

Master s Degree or higher preferred.

CPM Certification a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

3+ years in procurement, supply chain, or operations preferred.

Strong SAP experience highly preferred.

Required proficiency in Microsoft Suite products, including but not limited to, Word, PowerPoint.

SKILLS:

Strong technical skills with an analytical mindset.

Candidate must be detail oriented and a self-starter.

Ability to work through ambiguity to help identify and drive to a solution while influencing with integrity.

Proven ability to analyze and present findings in a clear and cohesive manner.

Maintain a high level of internal/external business acumen to mark trends and their impact on the business.

Ability to develop processes and/or to identify continuous improvements to help better coordinate activities.

Quick study with proven ability to manage change, ability to work across different teams.

Must be exceptional relationship builder and stakeholder manager and have the ability to form and grow own networks.
