Nestle Maintenance Mechanic in Springville, Utah

  1. Performs final assembly and pre-flight of systems to ensure smooth start-up of production.

  2. Monitors operations and performs adjustments, timing, minor repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and maximize production.

  3. Anticipates problems and takes corrective action prior to equipment failure.

  4. Properly performs preventative maintenance and routine lubrication of equipment.

  5. Recommends changes and improvements that will increase productivity.

  6. Maintains thorough knowledge of general mechanical, power transmission, electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  7. Maintains accurate, precise records where required. This to include equipment logs, communication logs, P.M. sheets, job orders, etc.

  8. Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities.

  9. Performs all other duties as assigned by Team Leader, CDM or planners.

Qualifications

  1. Should be knowledgeable on general maintenance mechanics.

  2. Should have experience with power transmissions.

  3. Should have basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.

  4. Should have hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting experience.

  5. Minimum of one year industrial maintenance experience. Over three years preferred.

  6. Basic computer experience required.

  7. Must be able and willing to lift 50 to 100 pounds occassionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently.

  8. Willing to work overtime as needed.
