We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting Operations to be located in Stamford, CT and report to the Corporate Controller.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

Execute processes on time and with the highest level of quality including Investment Measures, Cash Management & Treasury activities, Fixed Assets accounting, and Accounts Payable. Also included are specific General Ledger activities, PEC activities, and Internal & External Reporting activities. In addition, lead/support staff through execution of above noted processes

Analyze and review balance sheet account reconciliations. Identify potential risks and opportunities to Senior Accounting Management.

Manage relationship with Nestle Business Services (NBS) as it relates to Accounts Payable and Treasury Operations; including managing daily cash activities and banking relationships by partnering with Nestle USA Treasury Group, managing Accounts Payable function by partnering with NBS's Accounts Payable Team, and managing the bank reconciliation process performed by NBS Fremont.

Ensure that processes are in line with NAS, NIBS and internal controls

Lead process for understanding and implementing Accounting changes (i.e. IFRS 16-Leases)

Lead accounting process for hedging (currency, PET and fuel) and work with Finance Business partners to ensure compliance

Identify, execute and lead projects that will eliminate waste, streamline productivity and drive efficiency

Inspiring and motivating team is a key component of this position. The ability to unite team to share and commit to the department's strategy and goals is key.


Key qualifications include:

Minimum of at least 7 years working experience required, 10 years preferred.

Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact on a daily basis with a variety of cross functional business partners; ability to act independently and make recommendations and/or decisions

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines

Technical accounting experience

Bachelor s degree in Accounting is required

Certified Public Accountant preferred

Working experience within a CPG company is preferred

Experience leading a team is required
