Responsible for set-up, maintenance of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems by applying electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, electrical testing procedures and related knowledge to layout, build, test, troubleshoot and repair production equipment. With minimal technical supervision. Reports directly to Technical Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to set-up and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment. Responsible for the maintenance of all electrical systems used on production equipment.

Maintain facilities electrical distribution

Assists Engineering with the installation,debugging, and start-up of all production equipment

Reads and recommends changes in circuitry of installation specifications to simplify installation of maintenance

Maintain backups of programs from all electronic components

Understands and is able to troubleshoot and repair servo motors and drives, Variable Frequency Drives and AC motors.

Understand develop and make changes PLC programs to existing system for safety and overall performance

Observes functionality of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and need for service, repair and replacement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components

Qualifications

Requirements:

Over 5 years of experience in the electrical field

Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC s controls and platforms

Must be able to manage projects for implementing changes and improvements with minimal supervision

Must be able to work overtime and be willing to be on call for production needs

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
